All Soloist Panflute models are made of maple wood and have a very good finish with a wooden shoe. The pipes are sealed with plastic corks that do not leak even after tuning. The Soloist instruments come with a tuning stick, making the tuning process very easy.
The Soloist Panflute Tenor maple is a 22-pipe panflute (C1 to C4”’) and is tuned in C major. It does not take too much effort or practice to produce sound with this flute and the sound is very warm. The tops of the pipes have a smooth finish, which makes it comfortable to play on. This flute is a real asset for any (panflute) duo or ensemble, because its range is an octave below the regular alto flute. Both active amateur players and teachers will be able to bring more depth to their repertoire by utilizing the extra register.
